| The
way in the city |
 |
Starting from Piazza
della Loggia, you cover via San Faustino, till piazza
Cesare Battisti. Along the entire city way it is important
to be careful at the crossings. The cycle track is signalled
by the continuous yellow line, or cordolo, which starts
from via Leonardo da Vinci to the newsstand, turns into
via Goito, and into via Foscolo; passes via Pastrengo,
via Gorizia and via Aquileia, covers via Col di Lana and
continues into via Volturno; skirts the Iveco-OM and,
passed the River Mella, after via Chiusure, covers via
Cristoforo Colombo. At the end of this via, turns on the
right, into via Zoccolo, and then on the left, into via
Torricella di Sotto. After a stretch between residences
and countryside, at Torricella, you have shortly to introduce
yourself into the main road (at the pass between the Monte
di SantAnna and the Monte Picastello) and then to
go down into via XXV Aprile near the restaurant Le
Meridiane, in Cellatica.

| The
way in Cellatica |

On the left of the main
road you overtake the restaurant Le Meridiane, near
the façade of the small church. You plunge in the lowlands,
between villas and gardens, you exceed the modern church of
the Sacra Famiglia della Fantasina, (here you can pause and
there is a drinking fountain) while, on the right, isolated
on a small hill, appears between cypresses the small church
consecrated to Saint Rocco. The way continues for 1 Km, shady
by high borders of lines of mulberries and acacias, surrounded
by field of vineyards and trees of fruits; on the right from
the shores of the small lake you can see the Santuario della
Stella in the green of the hill.

| The
way in Gussago |

The way is mixed
to the cars (via Pianette) and it is skirts on the right
by a nursery of fruit and gardening trees; then it continues
near the villas till via Nikolajewka passing into a zone
of pause surrounded by gardens, in via Donatori di Sangue
and in via Bosco till the crossing of viale Italia you
have to be careful. After another crossing you enter into
via Casotto (Cascina rossa), where the track passes through
cornfields. The church consecrated to Santo Stefano, in
the old village Sale, small village of Gussago, appears
in high position. You skirt the hill, along via Santo
Stefano Martire, between high walls and old portals. From
a big seventeenth-century portal, on the left, you can
see villa Caprioli, with the sixteenth-century cornice
all around the eaves and two small quadrangular towers,
which give the aspect of defence to the building. In front
of it there is the fifteenth-century Casa Sala, (one of
the oldest in the province) it is stony, with a body higher
towards south, adorned by a light cornice of terracotta
under the eaves. At the crossing with via Sale, you see
on the right the small church dedicated to SantAdriano,
(celebrated on the second Sunday of October), and, while
you continue towards a modern residential zone, appears
on the right the hill on which stand the small castle
della Santissima. The road continues, between cornfields
and vineyards, passes near the horse centre with the velodrome
and the cascina Mariola in the small village Ronco di
Gussago, continuing between green banks and cultivated
fields to the small wooden bridge on the Torrent Gandovere.

| The
way in Rodengo Saiano |

You continue between the shades of
planes and along the old wall of the big complex of the Abbey
in Rodengo, famous for its historical-artistic interest. In
the background, on the hill, you can see the monastery del
Calvario reaching through a street surrounded by chapels of
the Via Crucis. In front of you there is the Abbey,
the leisure centre, a wide shady parking and a drinking fountain.
From there you enter in the Franciacorta. After a subway you
come to the cemetery of Rodengo and you take on your right,
then in via Vivaldi till a crossing (where there is a grocers).
Crossing via Don Giovanbattista Salvi, you cover a residential
zone (on the right there is a baker) till the flyover that
conduces to another residential zone.

way in Paderno Franciacorta |

Between fields you continue
in via delle Stelle and you cross the level crossing, in via
Marconi; after a stretch between old walls of old building,
you come in the centre of Paderno, in the wide piazza Libertà,
dominated by the castle. (Here you can find pubs, tobacconists,
stationers, grocers, restaurants and pizzerias).
You take for via per Passirano sinking the cemetery and the
church and you cross the level crossing..

way in Passirano |
 |
The fields and the vineyards,
the acacias brings back to the countryside. On the right a long
avenue with oaks and limes leads to villas Guarneri. The track
continue crossing the south part of Passirano, a residential
modern area, till the walls of palazzo Barba, in front of the
castle. You take, on the left, the road to Bornato and you skirt
the walls of the castle. On the left you can see the villa La
Tesea, on the top of the hill.

way in Passirano and Monterotondo |

Skirting the walls of the
Castle and seeing La Tesea, you come in a hilly
area. In this stretch of cultivated country with vineyards and
cornfields, you find the horse centre and a pass, which goes
down to Monterotondo. You take on the right between villas;
you cross an old village, between cultivated fields and woods. |

way in Provaglio dIseo and Corte Franca |
 |
The Madonna del Corno Shrine
stands, over Provaglio dIseo, in memory of the Virgin
Marys apparition to a soldier. You can see the factories
of Provaglio, you pass between houses with gardens till the
old village and the crossroads with the Santellone. Towards
Timoline you arrive at the level crossing. You can see the Abbey
of San Pietro in Lamosa, from where you have a wide landscape
of the Torbiere. You enter in the nature reserve Torbiere, covering
a stretch of big interest. So you arrive at the crossing of
the road Rovato-Iseo.

way from Cremignane to Iseo |

After a stretch on the main road,
you come in via del Dosso, which goes towards Iseo.

 |
Crossing the main road, you go up
to the old medieval village of Cremignane, small village of
Iseo from which there is a nice view of the lake. At the parking
you take on the left and continue skirting the gardens of
some interesting residential buildings.

way in Clusane |

Between fields, vineyards
and villas you coma back on the main road, in Clusane, you skirt
the via along the pavement, till the crossing near via Monsignor
Guatta, leaving on the right the parish church. Between old
houses of the village, the view shows the old castle, and the
way goes down to the lake-front. You come back into the main
road, you pass near camping till a small dock (with a wide parking),
from which you have the view of the gulf of Sarnico.
